SenGenuity has developed a SAW sensor platform for room temperature chemical sensing applications. Ideal for thick or monolayer polymer films, the platform is built using a simple 250MHz delay line with gold electrodes. A bare delay path design, similar to above, is configured for thick polymer films, while a gold metallized delay path design, as shown to the left, is configured for monolayer polymer films. Additionally, SenGenuity has designed many other high Q resonators for Frequency Control applications that are well suited for polymer sensing films. Intended applications for these platforms include industrial and process gases, humidity, combustion gases, hydrogen fuel cell and chemical agents.
